EDIT: Ravelry have now changed the design of the entire website so the colours and layout are now a little different from when this video was made.  The functionality is still the same though, so what I am showing you in the video is still all there, it just might look a little different.  I will try and get a new version made at some point, but will wait a while in case they roll out any further changes to the look and feel.

If you have never come across Ravelry.com before, then let me tell you, it’s one of the best resources online for knitters and crocheters.  It is completely free to register and use and contains hundreds of thousands of patterns for knitters and crocheters, both free and paid.

There are so many patterns, it would take years to look at them all, so I have put together a little screenshot video to show you how to use the search function to use the filters to narrow things down when looking for the perfect pattern.

You might be looking for the pattern first so you know what yarn you need to buy, or you may have a special skein in your stash that you don’t know what to do with.  Have a look at the video and hopefully you will see how easy it is to narrow down a search to find something right for you.

You can find more of my crochet projects on my Ravelry page and don’t forget to check out my Etsy shop for interesting yarn.
